About Me

I'm a computer engineering technology student at the University of Kentucky. I enjoy solving practical problems with computers and running useful services over the Internet.

I have a passion for simple, resource-conscious design in engineering.

Tech Skills

Server Administration

Managing infrastructure and providing web services from Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD systems.

Programming

All-around programming in C and C++, Go, Python, Bash scripting, and other languages as needed.

Embedded Development

Program design in C and C++ for various microcontrollers with STM32Cube and PlatformIO.

Responsive Web Design

Written from scratch to be highly performant on many devices.

Documentation

Clearly communicating, writing manuals, and breaking down complex ideas for non-technical readers.

Office

Efficient use of Microsoft Access and Excel.

IT Support

Technical support for MacOS and Microsoft Windows systems, mobile devices, and various applications.

Other Interests

I have a humble homelab of repurposed computers that I use to run various online services for myself and my friends and family. I love to get as much utility as possible out of limited resources and I'm fascinated with obscure software stacks that solve problems in novel ways.

Outside of computing, I produce music in an improvised studio environment with budget audio gear and unusual recording techniques.
